SALES ASSISTANT

LOCATION: NEW YORK

JOB DESCRIPTION:

·      Resolve routine administrative problems

·      Responsible for pre-qualifying clients’ inquiries (through phone or web), generating “leads” in salesforce and assigning “leads" to relevant sales manager

·      Make travel arrangements and confirm appointments for Sales Managers

·      Organize, file and retrieve documents in appropriate binders in order to maintain essential records used in the sales department

·      Draft document templates for properties in company inventory i.e. proposals, incidental estimates, one-sheets

·      Attend team and department meetings as needed

·      Conduct site visits with clients to tour our spaces

·      Perform research for target and enterprise accounts

·      Send handwritten cards when needed

·      Assist Sales Managers with CRM clean-up

·      Provide clients with assistant in the absence of the Sales Manager

·      Perform special tasks when assigned

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

·      College Degree

·      Some administrative or support experience (sales or events ideal)

·      Process centric

·      Ability to follow instructions and also take appropriate course of action independent of Sales Managers

·      Team player, resourceful, creative and efficient

·      Ability to work flexible hours and punctual in all matters

·      Not shy or soft-spoken

·      Attention to detail with particular strength in organization and time management
